Holistic healing
to help rebalance and renew.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-intrusive holistic complementary therapy based on the theory that different points and areas of the feet, lower leg, hands, face and ears correspond with different areas of the body.

Reflexology is an ancient therapy which has been practiced for over 5000 years and it is believed that working these points or reflexes, can help aid relaxation, improve mood, release tension, enhance sleep and may generally help improve wellbeing; allowing us to cope better with the stresses that life can bring.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
In everyday life there are a number of things that create toxins in our bodies including, stress, poor diet, disease, smoking, alcohol, caffeine and air pollution etc. These toxins are a build up of crystalline uric acid deposits and can be felt in the feet like tiny grains of sand, and tend to concentrate themselves in the feet where corresponding problem areas are in the body.

During a reflexology treatment, these deposits are broken down and the reflex areas stimulated. The body enters a detox period after each treatment which is why it's important to drink plenty of water after each treatment to enable the toxins to be flushed away, allowing the body's energy channels to clear and the body's natural equilibrium to rebalance and flow uncongested. This is a process of natural healing to help restore homeostasis within the body.
